Repairing old pipes with pipe relining

Pipe relining is a method used in plumbing to repair damaged or deteriorating pipes without the need for extensive excavation. Instead of digging up and replacing the entire pipe, pipe relining involves inserting a new, durable lining material into the existing pipe.

Pipe relining is typically used for underground pipes, such as sewer lines and drainage systems, or for pipes in hard to reach areas where large amounts of excavation is likely required.

What are the benefits of pipe relining?

Pipe relining is a great alternative to traditional pipe repair & replacement methods as it is cost-effective and minimally invasive. Not only does pipe relining offer a fast, cost effective pipe repair solution, it can also extend the lifespan of the pipes alongside improving their structural integrity.

  • Cost effective pipe repair solution.
  • Minimally invasive with little digging required.
  • Faster than replacing a pipe
  • Durable solution that can extend a pipe’s lifespan.

PIPE RELINING PROCESS

Firstly a camera inspection is used to locate where the pipe has failed. We then go through and clean out the pipe to ensure a clean surface before installing the relining material. From here, the relining material is inserted and another camera inspection is performed to ensure the relining process was successful.
